Our GAE guides
Environmental Hiking Guides (GAE) are professionals who safely accompany individuals or groups, providing the necessary technical assistance while visiting the territory, explaining its natural, human, and cultural aspects, with no altitude limits.
All activities and routes that require the use of mountaineering equipment and techniques—such as ropes, ice axes, and crampons—are excluded from the professional scope of the Environmental Hiking Guide.
The guides of Appennino Slow are selected through years of collaboration and guarantee professionalism, availability, and expertise, with a deep knowledge of the territory to make your journey a unique and unforgettable experience.
They are all registered with AIGAE, the Italian Association of Environmental Hiking Guides, or with LAGAP, the Free Association of Professional Environmental Hiking Guides, a professional association of GAE recognized by the MIMIT (Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy).
