Hi, I was born in Trieste and have always lived between the city and my Karst plateau. I love being outdoors, taking long walks, and going trekking.
Being in nature has always relaxed me, and it’s on the trails I’ve walked that my best ideas have come to life. I can’t stand still—I need to learn, discover, and observe. This is why I love studying: I’ve earned three degrees and even completed a master’s program.
As a strong supporter of sustainable development, my studies in the tourism field have increasingly focused on responsible tourism. In my view, tourism must be sustainable for the environment, the host community, and the traveler alike—and that’s how I’ve always tried to travel. Among rainforests, African savannas, and exotic seas, I became more and more convinced that my own territory has so much to offer. From all this came the idea of creating a tourism venture through which to share these beauties with travelers from all over the world.
This is how my small tourism venture MaroWays was born, through which I promote the discovery of the Alpe Adria region, from Friuli Venezia Giulia to Slovenia.
