Emmanuele Carabot

I was born in Tuscany and grew up on the hills around Florence, which I have never stopped exploring ever since.

I am a member of the Le Rose Cooperative, an organization located just outside the city where a group of differently abled young people work. For years, it has been dedicated to environmental education as an educational farm, welcoming schools of all levels.

Since becoming a GAE in 2015, I have been guiding groups of both international and Italian visitors along the trails of the Florentine hills and Apennines. I enjoy investigating and learning about history when it intertwines with nature and helps us understand the environment, firmly believing that every place—forest, trail, summit—can truly reveal itself when we know the story that tells it.
