Red-haired, left-handed, just over (recently, okay!) 50. Hi! I’m Elena, an Environmental Hiking Guide by passion for two decades. Always looking for things and people to discover. A great lover of nature and journeys made on foot.
I love designing, making mistakes, and inventing. I express all this during excursions along country paths, on volcanoes, on mountain rocks, in the middle of meadows, under waterfalls.
Born in Florence, Mugello by adoption, I’ve traveled around the world quite a bit, often on foot (Iceland, Patagonia, China, Thailand, Cape Verde, Canada, as well as beautiful Sicily, Sardinia, and Elba).
I love the territory around me, discovery after discovery. I’m passionate about sharing unique experiences in nature, along the winding lines that climb hills and mountains and trace the boundaries between past, present, and future of authentic lands that need care and love. A territory, its people, and its natural presences can only be loved if they are known.
This is what I do: I love taking walkers to discover places, flavors, and people that will remain in their hearts.
Artistically, my name is TERRÆ trekking. I am a professional hiking guide and I work mainly in Mugello, Tuscany, but also in Italy and abroad. I lead guided activities in the field of natural and cultural tourism, green tourism, and outdoor experiences for Italian and international clients.
These are the activities I love to dedicate myself to:
- Concept development, planning, organization, and management of nature excursions and guided tours in natural and human-shaped environments for individuals, groups, and schools;
- Study and enhancement of the territory, naturalistic and cultural routes;
- Environmental education and training on environmental and territorial topics, fostering a culture that supports the challenges of future sustainability and ecology;
- Environmental communication, also through the design and creation of communication and promotional tools.
